Paralegal Studies Program Schedules Summer Open Houses
July 5, 2006Atlantic Cape Community College’s paralegal studies program will host two information sessions this summer for those interested in learning more about the college’s American Bar Association-approved degree program. The first open house will be held Monday, July 24 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the lobby at the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House. The second open house is planned for 6:30-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 25 in room B-121 at ACCC’s Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike.
The program provides the basis for a rewarding career as a paralegal. The information session will cover program requirements, course offerings and scheduling. Financial assistance, library facilities and student support services will also be discussed.
ACCC offers two degrees, an associate in applied science and an associate in science, in paralegal studies. All legal specialty courses in the program are taught by attorneys. The purpose of the program is to train students to become paralegals and is not intended to be a program for training lawyers or legal administrators.
If you cannot attend the open house and would like more information about the program, call Marilyn Malerba Keiner, paralegal studies coordinator, at (609) 343-4941 or (609) 463-4774, ext. 4941.
