Atlantic Cape Accepts $1,000 Donation from Kiwanis Club of Cape May Court House

April 1, 2013

The Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation received a donation from the Kiwanis Club of Cape May Court House, March 25, to establish a scholarship for an Atlantic Cape student returning in the fall 2013 semester, who is an active community volunteer.

Kiwanis Club of Cape May Court House Board Members Charles Raff and Michelle Cotton presented a check for $1,000 to Atlantic Cape Community College President Dr. Peter Mora.

“We are grateful to the Kiwanis Club of Cape May Court House for recognizing community service by investing in the success of our students, and we thank them for their support,” Mora said.

Kiwanis Clubs serve children and youth using two approaches: one improves the quality of life directly through charitable activities that promote health and education, and the other encourages leadership and service among youth through service in high school Key Clubs and Circle K Clubs at colleges.
