Hospitality Training This Spring Will Prepare Workers for Industry Careers

Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a variety of workshops this spring for those interested in enhancing their skills.
Bartending Training will cover all the essential topics of bartending. In only 40 hours, participants will become well versed in liquors, equipment and mixing techniques, pricing and business management, beverage control and customer service, April 8-19.
Sanitation Training will teach participants to recognize the responsibilities involving the prevention of food-borne illnesses. The ServSafe Food Safety Training Program will also help foodservice workers understand proper storage, food preparation, cleaning and sanitizing to ensure safe food handling, two sections, beginning April 19 and April 30.
TIPs Certification trains participants to recognize potential alcohol-related problems and intervene to prevent alcohol-related tragedies. This workshop is ideal for those who deal with alcohol in a licensed establishment, three sections, beginning April 27, May 4 and May 7.
