Casino Career Institute Offers New Gaming Training

The Casino Career Institute at Atlantic Cape Community College has prepared more than 50,000 people for rewarding careers in gaming and continues to offer top-notch training for those who wish to enter the expanding casino profession.
New courses that will be offered this spring include:
Entertainment Dealer—Blackjack provides experienced Blackjack dealers with the skills to transition to an entertainment dealer.
Introduction to Electronic Games with i-Table Blackjack prepares participants to deal Blackjack on an electronic table, translating traditional skills to an electronic environment.
Introduction to Electronic Table Games with i-Table Roulette teaches participants how to deal roulette on an electronic table.
The Half the Time at Half the Price Program offers table games professionals an opportunity to increase their value and marketability to employers by learning a new game in a short-term, low-cost program.
CCI table games alumni who have graduated more than three years ago can refresh their skills as they return to the gaming workforce with an Alumni Refresher Program. Graduates may take the refresher program course only for the games they previously have taken with CCI.
Alumni who have graduated from CCI within the past three years can revive their skills with the Alumni Practice Program.
Additional classes currently offered are Introduction to Casino Games–Blackjack, Craps, Baccarat, Poker, Pai Gow Tiles, Roulette and Pai Gow Poker.
CCI also provides training in non-dealing casino professions such as Surveillance Training.
