Hurricane Sandy Emergency Relief Funding Available for Atlantic Cape Students
November 7, 2012
The Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation has established the Sandy Relief Fund for Atlantic Cape Students to collect emergency funds for Atlantic Cape students affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Students affected by the historic storm are encouraged to apply for relief aid to replace books, computer equipment, clothing and food lost to the hurricane, and to cover commuting costs and other necessities, including lost wages from work due to business closure.
To be considered for relief aid, a student must be enrolled and actively attending Atlantic Cape during the Fall 2012 semester.
At this time, the maximum amount per initial claim per student is $200.
Students interested in applying for relief can contact Kenya Goods at 609-625-1111 ext. 5279 or firstname.lastname@example.org, to complete an application.
