Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a variety of professional development workshops this fall for individuals interested in enhancing their skill sets to advance their careers.
Learn how to operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment plants in Introduction to Water and Wastewater Treatment, 6-9 p.m., beginning Sept. 17.
Recognize potential alcohol-related problems and intervene to prevent alcohol-related tragedies in TIPs Certification, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., sections begin Sept. 29, Oct. 9 and Oct. 27.
Those interested in preparing for the state examination to become a licensed New Jersey Real Estate Salesperson can learn about property interest and rights, mortgages, leases, business opportunity sales and laws and regulations in Real Estate Sales Pre-Licensing, 5:30-9:30 p.m., beginning Sept. 24.
Teaching English as a Second Language is a self-paced course designed for individuals interested in teaching adult learners of ESL or EFL, 5:30-8:30 p.m., first in-class meeting, Oct. 10.
Business Planning: What Do You Propose? provides an overview about the elements required to structure one’s business plan to receive funding, learn how to survive the first year of business and receive an overview of budgeting, 9 a.m.-noon, two Saturdays, Sept. 29 and Oct. 6.
Design a diet for you and your clients while studying sports specific diets, principles and foundations of nutrition, energetics and athletic performance in Sports Nutrition Consultant Certification, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Oct. 13.
