Tie for Atlantic Cape's Teacher of the Year

The Atlantic Cape Community College Teacher of the Year vote resulted in a tie this year. Atlantic Cape students chose professors William Osler and Jay Peterson as part of the Student Government Association election ballot.
Assistant Professor of Mathematics William Osler of Deptford received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mathematics from Rowan University. Osler has been teaching at Atlantic Cape since fall 2008.
Associate Professor of English Jay Peterson of Howell earned a master’s degree in English from the University of Cincinnati and bachelors degrees in English and Philosophy from Rutgers University. Peterson began teaching at Atlantic Cape more than eight years ago and appeared on two episodes of Jeopardy! in October 2011.
Osler and Peterson will be honored for this achievement at the annual SGA Banquet, Friday, April 27.
