Atlantic Cape to Offer Information Technology Certifications

Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a variety of information technology certifications, including career training and IT professional series courses in 2012.
Computer Technical Solution Series, designed to furnish students with the knowledge necessary to achieve the A+, Network + and MCITP certifications and will also include 150 hours on hands-on experience with various businesses in South Jersey, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., beginning Jan. 17.
Network Security participants will learn new technologies to mitigate the network threats facing IT professionals every day, 5:45-9:15 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, beginning Feb. 27.
In Cisco Certified Network Associate, learn how to install, configure, operate and troubleshoot small- and medium-sized networks, including security concerns, 5:45-9:15 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, beginning Feb. 27.
Introduction to vSphere provides network administrators and engineers for small- and medium-sized businesses with an overview of the skills necessary to implement virtual machines using VMWare’s vSphere, 6-10 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning April 10.
