Atlantic Cape and NJIT to Provide Physicians Seminar

Atlantic Cape Community College is partnering with the New Jersey Institute of Technology's federally recognized Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center, NJ-HITEC, to provide area physicians with a free continuing medical education seminar on electronic health record implementation. This 90-minute presentation has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 1.5 Prescribed Credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
The program will take place Wednesday, Feb. 23, from 6:30-8 p.m. at Atlantic Cape Community College, J-202, 5100 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing. It will include topics such as "Obtaining Medicare and Medicaid Financial Reimbursements for Meaningful Use compliance," "EHR Vendor Selection Assistance," "Practice Readiness Assessment," "Workflow Redesign," and "Financing Opportunities and Advice." The program will also cover the EHR implementation services available to physicians through NJ-HITEC.
