Dec. 3 Concert to Feature the Mondrian Ensemble

November 11, 2010

The Office of Community Affairs at Atlantic Cape Community College is sponsoring a fall concert featuring the classical music of the Mondrian Ensemble at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 3, in the Walter Edge Theater, 5100 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing.

The concert will include performances by members of the string section of the Philadelphia Orchestra, including: Noah Geller, violinist; Aurelia Mika Chang, piano; Anna Marie Ahn Petersen, viola; and John Koen, cello.

The Mondrian Ensemble was formed by Sam Maitin, internationally known Philadelphia artist, who exhibited on four continents. He wanted to have world-class music in Cape May, according to Barbara Beitel, director of the Cape May-based Access to Art.

Guests can purchase tickets for $25 a person, or a combination package that includes dinner at Careme’s for $50 a person. Student tickets are $15 each, or $40 for dinner and the concert. Dinner seating is limited; reservations are required.

For tickets, call the Office of Community Affairs at (609) 343-4858, e-mail, or send a check made payable to Atlantic Cape Community College to: Torrina Bennett-Michael, Office of Community Affairs, Atlantic Cape Community College, 1535 Bacharach Blvd., Atlantic City, 08401.
